Original Travel has been at the forefront of tailor-made travel for two decades, emphasising continuous improvement and innovative approaches. They offer a specialised service called “Dive In Style,” blending luxury travel with world-class diving experiences.

Objective:

Create two customizable newsletter templates for the Campaign Monitor platform, promoting the “Dive In Style” campaign. The newsletters should highlight luxury diving destinations and attract high-end clients interested in bespoke travel experiences.

Design Process

  1. Research:
    • Analysed similar high-end travel newsletters for design inspiration.
    • Studied Original Travel’s brand guidelines and existing marketing materials to ensure consistency.
  2. Wireframing:
    • Created wireframes for both newsletter templates focusing on layout, structure, and user flow.
    • Ensured the wireframes included sections for hero images, feature articles, testimonials, and contact information.
  3. Design and Prototyping:
    • Developed the initial designs using Adobe XD, incorporating feedback from Original Travel.
    • Used high-resolution images and elegant typography to convey a sense of luxury and adventure.
    • Prototyped the designs in Campaign Monitor to ensure compatibility and responsiveness across devices.
  4. Testing and Iteration:
    • Conducted A/B testing on different elements like subject lines, headlines, and call-to-action buttons to optimize engagement.
    • Gathered feedback from a select group of Original Travel’s clients and made necessary adjustments.

Result

The final newsletters achieved a balance of aesthetic appeal and functionality, effectively communicating the luxury and uniqueness of the “Dive In Style” service. The newsletters featured:

  1. A captivating hero section with stunning imagery of diving destinations.
  2. Engaging content blocks with articles about the top diving locations, exclusive packages, and testimonials from satisfied clients.
  3. Clear and compelling calls to action prompting readers to explore more or contact Original Travel for personalised itineraries.

Delivered elegant and functional newsletters that enhanced user engagement and effectively communicated the brand’s message. The newsletters contributed to an increase in inquiries and bookings for the “Dive In Style” service.
